Background on the Midwest Dairy Center

·

The Dairy Center has a three-way partnership among the Universities, Dairy Promotion and Research Organizations, and Industry organizations

Together, these three organizations make up the Operational Advisory Committee (OAC).

The OAC recommends overall policies, program goals, research project reviews and objectives

Contributing industry members have a role in deciding how research funds are spent

Members receive preferred rates on pilot plant equipment usage (excluding the extruder) at the University of Minnesota.
